Kathmandu: The CPN (Revolutionary Maoist) Chairman Mohan Baidya ‘Kiran’ has said that the question of national independence and territorial integrity has become more serious.
Addressing a march-past organized by the Revolutionary Youth League on the occasion of Cultural Resistance Day in Kathmandu on Saturday, he said the recent killing of Nepali patriot by Indian Security Force in Kanchanpur district has proved that the national sovereignty is in danger.
He also asked India to apologize in the incident.
Chairman Kiran also blamed the government of not being serious in the issue. “The Kanchanpur incident is the serious one. Even the government of Nepal didn’t take the issue seriously” he added.
Chairman Kiran termed Nepalese government an ‘impotent’ as it couldn’t raise the issue with the Indian government.
“Our ancestors didn’t let the country to be colonized. Now, we have to defend our border and sovereignty,” he said adding, “We must remain prepared even to wage national liberation war, when necessary, to save our nation.”
He also instructed the youths to be prepared for revolution to solve the problems of national independence, people’s democracy and people’s livelihood.
