This campaign has been planned for three months till the April-end.
The campaign will be jointly carried out by the Party, Patriotic People’s Republican Front, mass organizations and different other fronts as well. Party source said this campaign will focus on organizing party committees, united front committees and mass organizations. The entire state committees simultaneously inaugurated the campaign all across the country on January 18, 2017.
As part of this campaign Newa State Committee organized the inauguration programme in Kathmandu under the banner: A campaign for organisation expansion, rectification and mass mobilisation. Inaugurating the campaign in Newa, Party Chairman Mohan Baidya ‘Kiran’ said the party has decided to go to people to garner strength for revolution. This campaign is launched aiming at gaining strength for revolution through the Maoist policy: “From the masses to the masses”.
Stating the on-going tussle between parliamentarian parties is aimed at attaining the reactionary regime, he clarified that the CPN (Revolutionary Maoist) will lead the revolutionary movement for the liberation of the entire oppressed classes and people. The great people’s war was not defeated but the leadership betrayed it, he asserted. In addition, though the betrayers dissolved the PLA organised in 7 divisions during the great people’s war, he declared that his party will always remain prepared to reorganise even stronger PLA when necessary.
The present constitution cannot solve the problems faced by oppressed classes and nationalities because it represents the interest of the comprador, bureaucratic bourgeoisie and feudal class in Nepal, he added. Also, he cautioned the national independence has now been in serious danger because the imperialist and expansionist pawns have been competing to surrender the national interest to their foreign masters in their bid to please them.
Directing the cadres that the three month campaign must aim at strengthening the organisation, defending national sovereignty and arousing people on the issues of democracy and people’s livelihood, he committed to fighting till the country and people are liberated from the dual oppression of imperialism and domestic reaction.
