Kathmandu: Issuing a statement, the CPN (Revolutionary Maoist) Chairman Mohan Baiddya Kiran says that the ‘Saptari Carnage’ has been a concrete example of failure of state power and the system itself. The statement writes, “The government that cannot solve the problem emerged of the dispute between local election and constituent amendment is the main convict in this incident. Although they have freedom to organise mass rallies, the UML that failed to fulfil the role of main opposition also seems responsible. Also, none remained patient in this incident. In the final analysis, it is a solid example of the failure of the state and the system itself.”
“In this situation, our party condemns the autocratic Nepalese Government that brutally killed innocent Nepalese citizen through discriminate firing. Our party expresses emotional homage to Ranjan Mehta, Pitambar Lal Yadav, Ananda Shah and Digambar Yadav, who were killed in the police firing, and wishes quick recovery of the injured. Also our party expresses heartfelt condolence to the entire bereaved family members. Our party has been stunned by this awful incident” the statement writes.
