Kathmandu. Revolutionary communist party of Nepal has issued a press statement and strongly condemned US-led direct direct interference in Iran’s sovereignty. The press statement has been issued by acting general secretary comrade Gaurav is as following :
“After Israel launched a disastrous military attack on Iran under the patronage of US imperialism, the Middle East has been engulfed in a terrible war, and common people have become victims of it. First of all, our party considers the Israeli military attack as a direct intervention in Iran’s sovereignty and strongly condemns it.
In recent times, inter-imperialist contradictions have intensified all over the world. The whole world is being drawn into the vortex of a destructive war. Not only the recent Israel-Iran war but also the Russia-Ukraine war shows no sign of ending soon. The polarization between imperialist forces and various power centres in the world has increased. The danger of new fronts of war being opened and the whole world being drawn into the whirlpool of World War III has become more acute. The imperialist rulers are responsible for all this, and US imperialism has played a major role in it.
In this situation, revolutionary communist parties stand between great opportunities and grave dangers. A war between the enemies of revolution has created a favourable condition for the revolutionaries. Given this, the need of the hour for revolutionary communists is to stand against imperialist war and prepare for revolution by forming a united front between revolutionary and anti-imperialist forces, not to pit one imperialist power against another. The revolutionary communists do not have any option other than this to transform the opportunity into reality.”
