Kathmandu. CP Gajurel Gaurav, General Secretary of the Revolutionary Communist Party Nepal, has issued a statement strongly condemning and opposing the extreme fascist actions of the American President Trump. The statement says, “Donald Trump, the Nike of American imperialism, has announced that he will launch a military attack on Venezuela and bring its President Nicolás Maduro and his wife to the United States to face trial, and that the United States will rule the country until there is another arrangement in Venezuela.
In addition, Venezuelan government officials have also threatened that if Maduro sides with them, it will be very bad for them. The military encroachment on a sovereign and independent country, the arrest of its president and his wife, and the threat that anyone who speaks in Maduro’s favor will do much worse are Trump’s extreme fascist actions, bullying, serious violations of international law, and the culmination of American state terror. Our party strongly condemns and opposes this move by Trump, demands the immediate and safe release of the arrested president and his wife, and expresses strong solidarity with the struggle of the patriotic people of Venezuela who are fighting to defend national independence.”
