‘The news that Maoist Centre leadership has called for party unity has been aired for the last few days. It has necessitated to publicise party opinion because it might create confusion. It is clear to all that we had formed a new party by rupturing from and rebelling against the leadership because the Maoist Centre leadership betrayed the lofty goal of new democratic revolution, people’s war and communism and surrendered to the domestic and foreign class enemies. And, the step we had taken then has been proved correct now. It has already been clear that such a call for unity by the Maoist Centre leadership is nothing other than right revisionist conspiracy hatched by foreign reactions to destroy the revolutionary communists in Nepal.
Also, we have been publicising our position on party unity with the genuine revolutionary communists and we want to make it clear. Our party is prepared to build a new type of communist party by uniting genuine communist revolutionaries, who adopt Marxism-Leninism-Maoism, new democracy, principle of violence, scientific socialism and communism, who are prepared to struggle against imperialism, expansionism and all sorts of revisionism and mainly right revisionism and who oppose the present reactionary state power, constitution and the parliamentary system. And, we make a special appeal to the genuine comrades to push the process of discussion and debate for this.’
