Chaitra 2, Kathmandu: CPN (Revolutionary Maoist) led by Kiran has strongly criticized the government decision of postponing local election in province number 2 for three months and the nomination of second phase election for two days.
In a statement issued on Friday, Kiran has sharply accused the government of its unstable thinking and working style. He added, “The government staged a weird drama by postponing the local election in province number 2 for three months and the nomination of second phase election for two days.”
He writes, “Our party is receptive of and committed to establishing oppressed Madheshi people’s right and interest.” However, “The right and interest of the entire oppressed masses including Madheshi people can be guaranteed not by amending the current constitution but by abrogating it and rewriting people’s republican constitution based on class liberation and federalism with identity” he stressed.
In the statement he also appealed the entire masses to prepare for effective struggle and mass movement to bring people’s federal republican constitution in force.
