Kathmandu: The Communist Nucleus led by Bhupendra Neupane has united with Mohan Baidya Kiran-led CPN (Revolutionary Maoist), in the latest series of polarization among the revolutionary forces. The unification was announced amid a program in the Capital today.

Addressing the unification program, CPN (Revolutionary Maoist) Chairman Mohan Baidya Kiran termed this unification as the unity between those centres that have pursued the path of devotion, sacrifice and revolution.

The main challenges of Nepal’s revolutionary movement are the right neo-revisionism and right opportunism in the name of communism, Baidya clarified that the unity cannot take place with any opportunists.

“Prachanda’s Maoist Centre has now become the centre of liars,” Baidya said “Some revolutionaries are in illusion that Prachanda can still wage revolution even after he has surrendered before Indian expansionism and accepted parliamentary system.”

Stating that Baburam Bhattari, who played a role in democratic revolution in the past, abandoned Marxism, Baidya said, “He must be thanked because he did not tell a lie at least.” His Naya Shakti Nepal (New Force) is not the new one but a stale and an old one,” Baidya commented.

The CPN (Maoist) led by Biplav is also pursuing the opportunist line of power sharing, Baidya said. Meanwhile, Baidya directed all revolutionary forces to prepare for the new democratic revolution in Nepal by carrying out ideological struggle against all kinds of opportunism.

“New democratic revolution in Nepal would have succeeded if the revolutionary forces could have united” Baidya remembered. “Now, the Maoist movement has been defensive because right neo-revisionism prevailed in the party,” Baidya noted.

On the occasion, Secretariat Member of the CPN (Revolutionary Maoist), Pari Thapa said this unification is a part of polarization and unity in the revolutionary movement.

At a time when the so-called Maoist forces have been creating illusion of revolution, the Revolutionary Maoist Spokesperson Hari Bhakta Kandel ‘Prateek’ said this unification is for revolution and will be an inspiration for further polarization of revolutionaries in a single Maoist revolutionary centre.

The coordinator of Communist Nucleus, Bhupendra Neupane said that this unification is just the beginning. He further expressed his belief that the unification will be the first step to gather all revolutionaries into a same platform.
