Kathmandu – The Communist Party of Nepal (Revolutionary Maoist) on Sunday said disciplinary action should be taken against the Chief Commissioner of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority, Lok Man Singh Karki.
Issuing a press release by the Party Spokesperson, Haribhakta Kandel said disciplinary action should be taken against him as he has been found to be misusing authority.
Reiterating that the Party had opposed the move of his appointment as the CIAA Chief, the statement reads, “The then government appointed him as CIAA Chief by going against the aspiration of most of the Nepali people.”
The statement further reads, “Our Party is firm on the matter that disciplinary action should be taken against any government employee or a person holding government position found to be misusing authority and involving itself in corruption.”
